In the sea of anonymous springs, pillow tops and foams, it was hard to tell mattresses apart. So we decided to wake people up with brand advertising completely out of character, and completely recognizable on the sales floor. The Serta Counting Sheep became instant icons, synonymous with value and comfort. Getting a great night’s sleep without them continues to drive our timeless and engaging campaign. It’s probably why they’ve just taken residence in the Advertising Hall of Fame.
