Chief Executive Officer
As a teenager, David worked in a grocery store and became fascinated with how and why people buy things. Today, David answers those questions as the CEO of Doner.
David loves the extreme competitive aspect of the agency business and the thrill of helping clients win. He’s a hands-on, walk-around leader who believes creativity and accountability can coexist in harmony, details and speed matter, and bureaucracy sucks. David has overseen Doner's evolution into a thoroughly modern, data-driven and strategically led agency.
When he’s not leading Doner, David coaches tennis and serves on various boards across Detroit, including Cranbrook Kingswood Schools and MOCAD (Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit), and spends time with his wife and their kids Alex, Olivia, Owen and Henry.
Global Chief Creative Officer
Eric’s creative philosophy is pretty simple: make everything you touch better than the day before and try not to be a jerk doing it.
A born-again Midwesterner, Eric has built a reputation as a mobile expert and award-winning print, television and digital creative. He’s won just about every major award, including the first-ever Mobile Cannes Gold Lion and one of the first Lions for Creative Data; but he’s proudest to have been a part of work that filed patents, lowered the stigma of mental illness and was spoofed by Stephen Colbert.
Eric’s spark is ignited by technology, a disruptive idea, a properly brewed cup of tea and a smooth road ready to be attacked by two wheels and a carbon fiber frame.
Naveen is energized every day to work with the passionate team at Doner to solve clients’ business and marketing challenges.
He loves the balance of having to be ever mindful of the present, while simultaneously planning for our future. His strategic plans have contributed to the growth of several business units, while his operating plans have streamlined processes and driven efficiencies. He loves seeing a team come together to succeed beyond the potential of each individual.
A native Midwesterner, Naveen enjoys spending time with his fantastic daughter, and rooting on the Reds and Pacers. Don’t ask him about her no longer rooting for the Bengals – it’s a touchy subject.
President, Doner Detroit
Every great team has the player who makes everyone else better – that’s Craig Conrad. It started when he walked onto the Miami University hockey team and it continues today every time he walks into a conference room.
Craig has led accounts in every category from automotive to healthcare to retail to packaged goods. Today, as Doner’s president, Craig touches every account and supports team members at every level. As an avid sports enthusiast, healthy competition and being a good teammate are things that get his heart pumping.
He and his wife live in Northville and are active sports parents to their two future college athletes.
Chief Strategic Officer
You might not believe it when you meet her, but Jane grew up as an introverted kid who’d rather sit at the adult table and listen. Today, she uses those listening skills to pass insights on to clients.
Over the last 20 years, those insights have turned into the foundations of brand and marketing strategies for clients of all types. Her favorite type of work is brand development, especially if she can develop new research methodologies to get in deep with consumers and uncover new emotional territory.
Jane recently fell in love with Detroit and came to Doner from New York City to lead the Integrated Strategy Group. She’s enjoying listening to Michiganders of all sorts. Ask her for the gossip.
Lauren’s career spans three countries and two continents. Before becoming President of DonerLA, she ran an award-winning marketing agency in Sydney that served blue-chip clients like Visa, PlayStation, Nestlé and Jack Daniel's. After working 12 years in Australia, we’re all disappointed that she doesn’t have an Australian accent.
Lauren’s demonstrated entrepreneurial approach, breadth of experience working with fashion, lifestyle, CPG and retail brands, as well as her track record for driving growth fuel DonerLA.’s continued momentum.
Chief Creative Officer, LA
Jason has 20+ years experience working at some of the most creatively awarded agencies in the business.
His goal is to continue to make award-winning, big, buzzworthy creative work that creates unprecedented positive results for clients, while creating a process and culture that is fun, collaborative and integrated. To Jason, advertising is the most fun job in the world.
He’s addicted to that combination of passion and pressure — no matter the client, the medium, or how long he’s been doing this, he still feels the rush in his head and stomach when he sees really great advertising.
Chief Consumer Connections Officer
Marcus is a culturally curious thinker with an academic insight into the cognitive drivers that impact consumer behavior.
His strategies and creative contributions have led to the success of brands from professional basketball teams to music festivals and artists — just to name a few. Marcus believes we’re all here in this world for two reasons: Serve God and serve each other. He’s in the relentless pursuit of dopeness, helping people fully realize their potential while they help him realize his own.
Marcus is a faculty member at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He’s also a proud Detroit native, a devoted husband and loving father.
EVP, Director of Operations
Being part of the Doner family for so long has made Sue both unofficial historian and “Go-to Sue.” She’s worked in almost every department in the agency––literally.
Learning from the past, growing into the future and problem-solving along the way is the tempo that drives her every day. And because she likes to get things done, interacting with amazing people and helping build great creative becomes her energy source.
And thanks to Doner, she takes that energy home, where Go-to Sue becomes Go-to Mom.
EVP, Managing Director Doner CX
Catherine has a passion for the one-on-one interactions that ignite brand attraction, drive preference and build results. It is about creating meaningful, mutually beneficial personal relationships between brands and the customers they serve.
Catherine spent years logging automotive miles running the Hertz business, globally. She also has extensive B2B/Trade experience. Other brand experience includes Philips, J&J, Pepsi, Pfizer, P&G and MCI.
When not at work, Catherine is easy to find. She is usually chasing her husband and 2 kids enough to consider it “training” for her next triathlon, plotting a carpooling course from match to meet to game, or packing a cooler for the next road trip.
